Canon Point: Post-HGSS
Age: Her human form looks to be about 20.
Grade Level/Class Taught/Job: College Freshman
Dorm or Living Arrangement: Dorm please!
Personality:
There's a good reason her nature is naughty. Bree is a devilish little lady with a knack for trouble. As an eevee she had been fiery tempered, self righteous, a bit arrogant, and stubborn as a mule, but as she grew up and evolved into a Flareon, her personality took on a more adult flare. Sarcastic, flirty, fierce and still stubborn as a mule, Bryony is definitely someone to
To any stranger, Bree is that cool, collected young lady with the passive expression and piercing gaze. She can seem perfectly content with being by herself, lounging in the grass or enjoying an ice cream cone in the courtyards. She won't usually be the first to approach someone (unless they happen to be a hottie) but is pleasantly friendly if someone approaches her first. If you get to know her a little better, you'll find that she's less like a candle flame and more like a bonfire. Around people she's comfortable with, Bryony is a wild little lady who plays too much and lets too much go. She doesn't have many boundaries and will assume others don't either.
Like her trainer, this Flareon has restless paws and a desire to explore. New experiences excite her and she has a pretty open mind. Carelessness lends to getting her lost, which is just swell because her team's definition of 'lost' is discovering new things they would have otherwise missed entirely. To most people's surprise, Bryony proves to be quite adept at her studies. Perhaps its the constant thirst of learning new things that had at one point been nothing but a foreign language.
Oh, appearances. She is well aware that her human form is considered attractive. Seductive, even, when she leans on a hip, or braces herself on a table or railing with her butt in the air. She's not really vain though-- Bree doesn't care to wear what those humans call 'make-up' or to change up her wardrobe... but she will take advantage of her natural looks. She can be selfish at times and if she wants something, you can bet she'll get it. One way or the other. Even if she needs to wrap people around her little finger, trick someone, or otherwise lie and deceive.
Despite all the flirting and trickery, Bryony's not a mean girl. Spoiled and selfish, yes, but she would never do anything to actually cause anyone harm. She loves her friends dearly and cherishes her trainer to no ends. She follows Blue around like a puppy, protecting her
Food. Oh dear lordy, food. It reminds her of Blue. How? Well, Blue had a thing for spoiling Bryony. The trainer would feed the Flareon treats and snacks throughout their travels, always catering to her love of spicy things. She loves eating in general but spicy foods always make her think of Blue, thus making her feel better. Its a good thing she's got a beastly metabolism.
Have I mentioned her temper? Bree is a firecracker when taunted. If you have good intentions but piss her off, she'll be a grumpy little thing and ignore you for a while. If you purposely piss her off, though, she'll be that angry, hissing, spitting ball of flaming fluff that lunges out from the shadows at the worst moments to hunt your ankles like a vengeful cat. Bryony isn't much of a grudge holder, though, so you don't have to watch your back for too long before her playful demeanor returns. She doesn't "see the glass half full" so much as knowing that life is too short to be wasting it on being angry. If you happen to upset her, however, (which is rare, as she hardly ever gets upset), you can expect to find her curled up in Blue's bed with a tub of ice cream and a box of tissues.
Backstory:
She'll try not to bore you with the details, but Bryony was barely a newly made Eevee egg when her trainer-to-be was tackling her first batch of gym leaders. Bree had been hatched in a quiet little town called Pallet, raised by an adult couple and told constant stories about a cute little girl named Bluebell. But who was Bluebell, really? She didn't know. All she knew was playing with the town's children, chasing critters off of her 'territory', and getting into her fair share of tussles. Her fiery temper and stubborn nature meant there were plenty of fights to be had, and by the time Blue had returned home, Bryony was an experienced little Eevee. Despite her tough-girl front, however, she was instantly taken with Blue, and didn't need much persuasion to become part of the trainer's team.
Not long after joining up with Blue, they left Pallet town. Bryony had never left Pallet town before. She had been nervous, sure, but the excitement was overpowering. The places they would see, the pokemon they would meet! She and Blue were one hell of a team and, would you believe it, they won their battle against Red and became the new Champions. Almost immediately after their fight, Bree evolved. She had run wildly around Blue's feet making frantic little cries for attention (basically this) and the trainer had just enough time to pull out the first stone in her bag when the little Eevee became a full fledged Flareon. There was plenty of "oh hot damn, puppyyyyyy" gushing going on. Mostly from Blue.
Achieving the title of 'Champion' was all good and great, but it wasn't fun for long. What was the fun in sitting on your high stool and fighting off everyone who came to challenge you, day in and day out? Where was the adventure in that? Luckily her trainer was just as restless, because they soon hit the trail again after quietly passing the title off to someone else.
Their travels took them everywhere. Literally. Bluebell was not leaving a single region unexplored. They were picky fighters, too-- only challenging the gyms with the pretty badges or the cool leaders they wanted to meet. (Blue's badge case was a confusing heap of shiny things, as Bree liked to say). They found the time to visit Green and Red but the boys were, like always, finding their own paths. Red with his mountain and Green with, well, being Green. Bryony mostly paid them and their teams no attention. She was still young and there were too many other things to look forward to doing.
By the time they slowed down and found out the boys had enrolled in school, Bree had matured enough to appreciate the idea of taking a break. The school seemed like a neat enough place so, after briefly pausing in Pallet Town, it was off to Smash Academy. So many people, so many creatures. There were other pokemon, sure, but not much compared to the vast majority of strangers. She might have loved attention, but not in crowds of nameless faces. It didn't help that she'd been raised in a tiny town, so this was all just so weird and overwhelming. Bree spent the first few months mostly hiding in a pokeball or shut in Blue's dorm (she didn't mind the roommate), but was eventually coaxed out and comfortable enough to trot through the halls at her trainer's side (and to strut her stuff to whomever appreciated what a fine Flareon she was).
Within her team, she was the first to accept the ability to take human form, having tried it when Blue mentioned it one night. Well, luckily her trainer was there
Anything Else?:
Well, she's a Flareon. A matured Flareon, well trained and experienced in battle. In her human form, she's sort of average height (5'4"), slender and curvy in all the right places (to Blue's chagrin), with long strawberry blond, red-tipped hair that reaches down to her hips in wild, wavy tumbles. Her eyes are of a deep ocean blue color.

Well hello there. My name's Bryony, pronounced like Bree-uh-nee, but you can just call me Bree. I assume I'm doing this whole human-greeting thing right. Well anyway. I'm a newly enrolled student, as I'm sure you've guessed. My trainer is Blue, and I'm her Flareon. You've probably seen me around; I was that vibrant red pokemon with the gorgeous golden mane. Heehee. Blue signed me up just yesterday so I'll be starting classes on Monday. Guess I'll see you all around? Cool, OK. Also-- yesterday at noon, that cute guy standing near the clock tower; you know who you are. You and me? Yeah? Yeah. ;)

Bryony yawned. Stretched her legs out. Made a little squeaking sound of delight as something popped back into place. It took a moment for the flareon to wiggled her way out from within Blue's blankets, having been tangled up in her slumber. Even with the shutters down, she could see sunlight peeking in through the dorm window, meaning that she couldn't have slept for much more than a couple hours. Straightening her hind legs, she stretched her forelegs forward, butt in the air for a moment, before she sat back on her rear end with a huff. What to do until Blue's class ended?
Scooching closer to the edge of the bed, Bree scrunched up her face in concentration. She was alone anyway-- why not practice using her human form? As long as she stayed sitting, there wouldn't be any crashes this time around. (Though she was ever grateful that Blue was there to catch her last time). She felt that odd buzzing through her body, as if electric currents were rippling over her fur. Everything shifted. In another moment, Bree found herself sitting with her long legs over the edge of Blue's bed, lacking her usual soft fur and wearing the clothing her trainer had dressed her in the last time she'd transformed. How convenient. She awkwardly lifted a long arm and ran her fingers through her hair. It was the only thing that stayed the same-- her strawberry blond hair was as long and silky as her mane and tail had been. Everything else was oddly bare and/or feeling rather cold. She wasn't too fond of the way the scratchy jeans hugged her legs too tightly and rode low on her hips, either.
Taking a breath, the female tested her feet on the flat surface of the floor and then leaned forward over her knees. Center of balance? Pish. Pushing off of her palms, she slowly rose up until she stood with her knees locked and her feet apart. Right, no problem. Bree imitated the way Blue walked, one foot in front of the other, strides not too wide or too long. Well, she tried, anyway. She leaned forward too much, panicked, and threw her weight backwards to avoid breaking her pretty little face. Hello gravity, meet Bryony's butt.
By the time Blue got back to her dorm after a long day of classes, she found her flareon sprawled out on the floor, still in human form and looking like she had no intentions of moving. Bryony blinked up at her trainer.
"Welcome back, sweetie!" Insert innocent smile.
